Click For Babies

Have some free time and purple yarn? Knit up a quick baby hat and support a worthy charity.  The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome is calling on knitters to knit purple hats for babies. These hats are used as part of a program to educate new parents on the dangers of Shaken Baby Syndrome. You can find more information about their program and patterns at their website clickforbabies.org.

Locally, St. Luke's Hospital NICU is asking that the hats be donated by October 1st.  The Crazy Girl Yarn Shops will be collecting hats through the end of September, so if you are interested, get those needles clicking!  If you're in the need, we have a great variety of purple yarns at the shops.
